Mission of The Star Thread Society
The intended goal of The Star Thread Society is to preserve and promote the human spirit inside us all. We are mere stewards of the total human action. Under the P.A.R.R.C. Initiative we have developed a set of standards and guidelines to accomplish this goal. It is our firm conviction that each one of our individual fibers creates a strand. This extends the thread of the great human endeavor, experience, and retaining of memory out into the stars.
Knowledge of the land and waters. Understanding of the delicate cycle of life and seasons. Insight into the ways and cultures of the past. These disciplines are manifested physically onto the landscape of Barnett Shoals, GA. The park property is a canvas where Star Thread Society members can express their own unique ability to explore, experience, and thrive...
